It covers 22,000 square meters, making it the second largest temple built for Confucius. The Confucius Temple is composed of four courtyards: the Xianshi Gate, the Gate of Great Accomplishment, the Hall of Great Accomplishment, and the Chongshengsi Courtyard. The temple is known for the 198 tablets on the sides of the courtyards. They contain the names of scholars from the aforementioned dynasties. Also, tourists come to see the temple for its steles, the various historical and cultural objects as well as for its century-old trees.\r\n\r\nEven today, ceremonies in honor of Confucius are regularly celebrated within the Temple. The Hall of Great Successes contains a very beautiful statue in the image of the philosopher who is one of the thinkers who has certainly left his mark more than anyone else in China. Confucius has long devoted himself to virtue and morality. To visit the Temple of Confucius, you will have to pay an entrance fee of 10 Yuan.
