Its current name appears when it has been rebuilt by a Zen master in 1697.It is the main Zen temple in the region and the many relics it contains attract a crowd of believers. Around the temple is a beautiful 13-storey pagoda, a pleasant tea house, a vegetarian restaurant and a park where the elderly indulge in eternal mahjong parties.The district around the temple has been renovated \"period style\" to attract visitors.
