As its name suggests, there are more than a thousand islets of various sizes on the lake's waters.The lake has earned its reputation thanks to the purity of its water, its green mountains and a remarkable fauna and flora whether on the islets themselves or around the lake: fruit trees, monkeys, pans and ostriches, among others . It is now considered one of the 5 most beautiful lakes in China and is the largest forest park in the country.On site, you can for example go on a boat trip and explore the islands with animals (birds, monkeys, snakes ...), rent bikes or enjoy a guided tour to discover the secrets of the lake. At night, it is possible to admire the starry sky.<h3>Practical information<\/h3>You can get to the lake from the Hangzhou West Bus Station, where a departure is scheduled every 20-50 minutes between 6h and 18h50.
