It's more like a luxury neighborhood, where you probably meet more expatriates than Chinese people. The nightlife, from 18h00 (6pm), is very lively.<h3><strong>Huai Hai Lu<\/strong><\/h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Huai Hai Street (Joffre Avenue) has become one of the most famous shopping streets. Lined with luxury French-style buildings, excellent restaurants with international cuisine, department stores ... it delights Westerners wanting to shop.<\/span><h3><strong>Xintiandi<\/strong><\/h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Further east, near the old La Fayette Avenue, the new Xintiandi district is particularly alive.
