In 1924 the tower collapses definitively. Excavation work began on the site of the ancient Pagoda in 2000 and the construction of a new Pagoda above the site of the old one was completed in 2002.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The current Pagoda of 72 m is composed of 3 parts:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">- The <strong>pedestal<\/strong> in which can be seen the ruins of the ancient Pagoda protected by transparent windows,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">- The <strong>body of the Pagoda<\/strong> that can be explored by stairs or lifts,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">- The <strong>top of the Pagoda<\/strong> which offers a superb view of Xi Lake and Hangzhou.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The relics of the ancient Pagoda are preserved in the pedestal and tells the story of love between a young scholar and a woman who is none other than the transformation of a white snake.<\/span><b>Useful information<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plan 2 hours to visit the Pagoda<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chinese Name : L\u00e9i f\u0113ng t\u01ce -
