We had a pleasant stay in China and were able to discover the richness of its different cultures. We were generally well received by the hotels and guides, with a special mention for the English-speaking guide in Kunming and the last 2 French-speaking guides in Xi’an and Beijing. Among the difficulties encountered, we had trouble with Chinese food; in the hotels it went well, except at the one in the Tiger Gorge (not good and much too expensive, more than in Shanghai!). We did not have the opportunity to visit Kunming, which is a shame because the city seemed nice. Thank you again to you and your teams for these wonderful discoveries that you allowed us to make.<\/p>\n

Thank you also for orchestrating our trip, which allowed us, as a family, to discover a grandiose, traditional, surprising, and even avant-garde China. These varied stops gave us a splendid overview of the Chinese imperial era, as well as of a Middle Kingdom that became the spearhead of global modernity. We will, without a doubt (for me at least), in the coming years, be led to return to this unique civilization, which could rhyme with utopia as well as dystopia.<\/p>\n
